Albemarle Hikes Prices for Bromine Products

March 1, 2010 - Albemarle Corp of Baton Rouge, LA has announced that it will increase its global prices for elemental bromine by US$500/tonne and all grades of hydrobromic acid by US$250/tonne. The price increase will take effect April 1, 2010 or as contracts allow.

DuPont Increases Pigment Prices in North America

February 24, 2010 - DuPont Titanium Technologies of Wilmington, DE has announced a price increase for all DuPont Ti-Pure titanium dioxide grades sold in North America. Effective April 1, 2010 or as permitted by contract, prices in the U.S. and Canada will increase by US$0.05/lb.
